On behalf of the Robeson County Board of Commissioners and our staff, welcome to our web site. Robeson County is the largest county in land area (951 sq. miles) in North Carolina and is the most ethnically diverse county in the United States. We are located in the southeastern portion of the state and are bisected by I-95 and I-74. We are half-way between New York City, N. Y. and Miami, Florida, which means we are an overnight truck trip to over 50% of the country's population.

Robeson County is the home to 14 municipalities and is also one of the largest agricultural counties in the state. Because of this we offer a wide diversity of opportunities for living and working.
