Robeson County EMS provides EMT-Paramedic emergency medical care to the citizens of Robeson County and visitors within our boundaries. When sudden sickness or injuries occur, Robeson County EMS is capable, equipped and staffed to handle prehospital emergencies. We literally bring a mini Emergency Department to your door when an emergency arises.

Robeson County EMS uses EMS Charts for Patient Care Reporting. EMS Synch Pad / IPADS for mobile reporting. We also use live CAD/AVL Data streaming on our Mobile Data Terminals in each unit. We are progressive and work hand in hand with NCOEMS to make our department the best we can be.

Robeson County EMS received 23,690 calls in 2015 and transported patients 15,758 times. Robeson County EMS drove over 554 thousand miles last year. Local Rescue Squads answered another 9,475 calls. There were a total of 33,165 EMS calls in 2015

Service Hours-24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Robeson County EMS has 4 shifts A,B, C, and D shifts(A and B shift are permanent Day Shifts. C and D shifts are permanent Night Shifts.); each shift has 7 ambulance crews, 14 employees, 1 EMS Supervisor, 1 EMS Lieutenant, 1 Peak time ambulance, and Shifts are 12 hour shifts 7am until 7pm or 7pm until 7am. We do operate one peak time medic unit from 7am until 5 pm Monday thru Thursday. Pay is very competitive within our region and benefits are excellent. Full-Time Employees work 14 – 12 hour days per month on either day or night shift then rotate accordingly.
