POSITION VACANCY

TITLE:          ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH SUPERVISOR II

DUTIES:       The primary purpose of this position is to direct and coordinate the various programs of the Environmental Health Section by the policies and guidelines established by the Health Director, the county and state in order to protect the health of the citizens of Robeson County. Employee will be responsible for planning, organizing, coordinating, directing, and administering a complete program in all phases of Environmental Health.

MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:   Three years

experience in professional Environmental Health work at the Sanitarian level or above in a health department, with one year preferably having been in an administrative, management, or supervisory capacity. Preference will be given to those applicants with experience in both On-Site and Food and Lodging.

NECESSARY SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS:   Registered as an Environmental Health Specialist (REHS).

SALARY RANGE: $46,807.62 – $72,551.81
